幾乎每個(gè)學(xué)校都有自我介紹，可以從興趣愛(ài)好、性格特點(diǎn)、未來(lái)規劃入手，使自我介紹不單單停留在名字、畢業(yè)院校這些信息上，同時(shí)要求簡(jiǎn)潔、有新意，能夠讓考官記住你。最重要的是，發(fā)音要準，不要太快，以別人聽(tīng)懂為目的。注意一定要聽(tīng)考官的指示語(yǔ)，聽(tīng)到考官說(shuō)：Can you introduce yourself briefly/ say something about yourself 后再開(kāi)始。
問(wèn)題：What can you tell me about yourself?(關(guān)于你自己，你能告訴我些什么?)
參考回答：In high school I was involved in competitive sports and I always tried to improve in each sport I participated in. As a college student, I worked in a clothing store part-time and found that I could sell things easily. The sale was important,but for me,it was even more important to make sure that the customer was satisfied. It was not long before customers came back to the store and specifically asked for me to help them. I'm very competitive and it means a lot to me to be the best.
(1)興趣，即強調對所報考的專(zhuān)業(yè)懷有極大的興趣(have significant interest in…)。如果本科就讀的專(zhuān)業(yè)與報考的專(zhuān)業(yè)一致，則可以說(shuō)明想繼續深造(further education)的愿望。如果不一致，則要說(shuō)明報考專(zhuān)業(yè)對你的吸引力(…appeals to/attracts me a lot);
(3)益處，即強調考研對你的未來(lái)的積極影響(have a positive effecton…)，可以從求職、職業(yè)規劃、人生經(jīng)歷等方面入手進(jìn)行說(shuō)明?？蓞⒖嫉脑~匯、短語(yǔ)如下：be helpful, contribute to, be beneficial to, be conductive to, be a definite advantage, become a strong point when it comes to…等等;
In my work, I found … is rather important. I always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. So I choose to go back to school and improve myself.
